Belfast Welcomed Dr. Lorna Gold: A Celebration of Faith, Climate Action and Community
From 1st–3rd February 2025, over three days of inspiring conversations, heartfelt reflections and a renewed call to action, Belfast played host to Dr. Lorna Gold in her first official engagements as the new Executive Director of the Laudato Sì Movement. Her visit, at the invitation of the 4 Corners Festival, brought together faith leaders, climate advocates and community members, all united by a shared commitment to caring for our common home.
Ecumenical hospitality: Holy Trinity Westport temporarily relocates to St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at their kind invitation
Sunday 2 Feb 2025 was an ecumenically significant and moving day for Westport Church of Ireland and Roman Catholic communities alike, when for the first time and memorably, the congregation of Holy Trinity Church of Ireland Church celebrated Holy Communion in St. Mary’s Church on the Mall.
The Revd Robert Marshall on ‘The context of Irish Disestablishment 1868–1871’

The Revd Robert Marshall is Diocesan and Provincial Registrar of Dublin and Glendalough. He will speak on “The context of Irish Disestablishment 1868–1871” in a lecture held on Zoom.
It is with regret that the Dublin & Glendalough Disestablishment 150 Committee has taken the decision to park the diocesan Open Church event which was to take place on Culture Night 2020.

Heritage Week talks & walks to mark 150th anniversary of Disestablishment
As part of the Church of Ireland’s programme of events to mark the 150th anniversary of its Disestablishment, a lunchtime lecture series organised by the RCB Library will run at the Irish Architectural Archive (IAA), 45 Merrion Square, Dublin, during Heritage Week (next week).
