Last Saturday, 25 January 2003, there was an historical gathering of Bishops in Dublin's Christ Church Cathedral as one of the most representative groups of ordaining bishops ever took part in an Irish Episcopal Consecration.

The Irish bishops who took part were led by the Archbishop of Armagh, the Most Revd Dr Robin Eames, and the Consecration was presided over by the Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Revd Dr John Neill.

The Bishop of Cork, the Right Revd Paul Colton, and the Bishop of Clogher, the Right Revd Dr Michael Jackson assisted the Archbishop of Dublin at the consecration.
