CHURCH HELPS KIDS BATTLE BOREDOM IN EAST BELFAST

The Church of Ireland on the lower Newtownards Road in east Belfast is staging a series of Saturday Club events this month starting on Saturday, 9 August, in St Patrick's Parish Church Hall at 10.am to 12.30pm.

On offer for kids in the 7-11 age group will be a wide choice of activities aimed at banishing boredom and stimulating creativity. It's also sure to be lots of fun!

The rector of St Patrick's Church, Rev Colin Hall-Thompson said: "This is the time of year when many children can get bored. We hope the Saturday Club events will capture their imagination and interest. There will be arts and crafts, music and dance. These events promise a really fun time with plenty of opportunity for the kids to show off their talents."

The Saturday Club programme finishes with a special Fun Day on Saturday, 30 August, from 10am to 3.30pm.

Children who want to join in the fun are asked to bring a parent or carer with them to their first session to register.
