The former Loyalist paramilitary prisoner, David Packie Hamilton, will be the speaker at the final Monday night Healing Service before Christmas in St Anne’s Cathedral, on Monday, 8 December at 8.00p.m.

It was while serving an eleven year sentence in Crumlin Road Prison that David Hamilton was converted in January 1980. Released from prison in 1983 he immediately became involved in full-time Christian work. An outstanding speaker and preacher, David has been for many years in constant demand for speaking engagements abroad.

One man who knows him well is Brother David Jardine, organiser of the service and a chaplain in Crumlin Road Prison during the years that David Hamilton spent there. He says, “Part of David’s appeal is the wealth of stories he has from his life as a paramilitary and as a prisoner, as well as his great sense of humour. In addition to this I have noticed in the last two or three years a greater depth coming to both his preaching and his living of the Christian life.”

Please feel welcome to come and hear David Hamilton’s Christmas Message on Monday, 8 December.

Worship will be led by Paul and Sharon Reid. Prayer and the laying on of hands will be offered at the end of the service.
