Solidarity with Al Ahli Hospital and Middle East reflections

Archbishop Michael Jackson visited Gaza in 2018, including the Al Ahli Hospital which was damaged in an attack this morning (Palm Sunday, 13th April 2025). In this interview, he recalls that time and expresses Dublin and Glendalough’s solidarity with the Diocese of Jerusalem amid conflict.

Archbishop Jackson also reflects on the meaning of the Parable of the Good Samaritan, as expressed in his colleagues’ humanitarian service in the region, and outlines how hopes for how a recent conference in Jordan, which he attended earlier this month, will build closer relations between several Christian traditions.
