Archbishop John McDowell, the Church of Ireland’s Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, met with President Michael D Higgins on Sunday (18th May) at a reception hosted by the President to mark the 400th anniversary of St Isidore’s, the Franciscan Church in Rome.  Archbishop McDowell is visiting Rome as part of a delegation from the Anglican Communion which attended the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV on Sunday morning.
