A ministry of presence: University chaplaincy in Dublin
What does a normal day or week look like for a university chaplain in Ireland today? In this new film for our Inspiring Angles series, Canon Paul Arbuthnot and lay chaplain Eric Hughes talk through their respective roles in serving staff and students at Trinity College Dublin and the three–campus Dublin City University.
For them and for the people with whom they journey, this is a relevant ministry of presence in a place where many are searching for meaning beyond themselves and are open to listening to what is offered through the Christian faith.
