Statement on behalf of Clogher Diocese
Dean Kenneth Hall, Bishop’s Commissary in Clogher Diocese, issued the following statement on Wednesday evening (23rd July 2025):
“As a church community we express our deepest sympathy to the family circle of those who have died and have been injured as a result of the serious and tragic incident in Fermanagh today.
“The whole community has been shocked and saddened following the tragic shooting incident near Maguiresbridge today and we ask that the family circle of those affected will be kept in our thoughts and prayers.
“Our church community will be supporting family members in the difficult days that lie ahead and ask the public to respect their privacy at this time.
“We also ask that the public follow the advice of the PSNI as they continue their enquiries.”
