Liturgical Advisory Committee
A prayer for wisdom for our living and learning
As the new university and college term begins, we hold in prayer all returning students and those setting off for third–level education for the first time. The Liturgical Advisory Committee has shared a prayer for wisdom, to encourage each of us, at whatever age or stage, to commit our living, and our learning, to God:
Loving Creator, thank you that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Give me wisdom to use my time well, to care for my body, my mind and my spirit and to walk through each day knowing that I am in your presence.
Help me in all my relationships to see those around me as created in your image, and to value and respect each person as your child.
Thank you for the gift of my life and the gift of friendships that enrich it along the way. Amen.
