RB News
The Representative Body’s December 2025 meeting took place in Church of Ireland House, Dublin, on Wednesday, 10th December.
The Archbishop of Armagh opened the meeting in prayer and welcomed Mr Robert Ellis (Derry & Raphoe), Ms Ruth Gyves (Dublin & Glendalough), the Revd Canon John Clarke (Meath & Kildare), and Mr Paul Schütz (Tuam, Limerick & Killaloe), and Mr David Webb (co–opted member) as new members attending their first meeting.
In line with the General Synod Bill No.7, approved at its meeting in May this year, to increase the maximum number of co–options to the Representative Body (from 11 to 18), Ms Ade Oluborode and Mr Adrian Robinson were nominated and co–opted.
This brings the current number of co–opted members to 15, following the election of Dr Rosemary Peters Gallagher and Mr David Webb as co–opted members at the September meeting.
