Speaking with David Ritchie about the RCB and Benefact Trust Climate Impact Fund

An initiative aimed at cutting carbon emissions and improving energy efficiency in hundreds of Church of Ireland properties has received a welcome boost through a partnership involving the Representative Church Body and the Benefact Trust.

A fund of £300,000 or €348,000 has been made available for innovative projects such as renewable heating systems, solar panels and improved insulation.

David Ritchie is the RCB’s Chief Officer, and Ray Hayden asked him about the background to the Building Climate Impact Fund and what the thinking was behind it.
