Planning for ACC–19 and focus on global warming

Dean Susan Green from Cloyne was a member of the Church of Ireland planning team responsible for organising the recent week–long meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council in Northern Ireland.

The Dean of Cloyne’s work included planning the liturgies for daily Morning Prayer, lunchtime Eucharists and Evening Prayer and helping out with practical arrangements,  fringe events and the Pilgrimage to Derry–Londonderry.

Ray Hayden caught up with Dean Susan after she listened to a discussion on global warming.

She explained how her participation in the last ACC in Ghana three years ago prepared her for the work that went into making ACC–19 in Belfast such a successful gathering.
