NEW ARCHBISHOP TO ADDRESS DIOCESAN SYNOD
The Dublin & Glendalough Diocesan Synod will meet in Taney Parish Centre, Taney Road, Dundrum, on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th October at 5.00pm each evening.
This will be Archbishop Neill's first time to preside at the Diocesan Synod and he will make a major address on Tuesday at 5.10 pm approximately.
Almost 400 people including all serving clergy together with three elected lay representatives for each clergyperson in a parish are entitled to attend.
Following the Archbishop's address they will debate reports on Education, Mission, Youth Ministry, and Social Issues.
