Mothers' Union Autumn Council and dedication service
Members of Mothers’ Union All-Ireland Council will have the opportunity to join in a special service at 10.30am on Saturday 13th October in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, conducted by Canon Doris Clements, All-Ireland Faith & Policy Unit Co-ordinator.
During the service, the Mothers’ Union chaplain, Bishop Henderson, will dedicate a plaque in the Mothers’ Union Chapel in memory of Canon Norman Commiskey, General Chaplain of the Mothers’ Union in Ireland from 1959-1988 and his wife Florence, Honorary General Treasurer of the Mothers’ Union in Ireland from 1959-1990. Following the service, members will move to Dublin Castle for their Autumn council meeting.
