CHURCH OF IRELAND COURT ADJOURNED
The Church of Ireland Court of the General Synod today adjourned until 10 May 2002 at 10.00 a.m. to consider the petition from Bishop Richard Clarke relating to Dean Andrew Furlong. The Court will meet in Church of Ireland House, Church Avenue, Rathmines, Dublin.
The Most Rev Dr Robin Eames, President of the Court said it was agreed to adjourn as voluntary discovery had been agreed between the parties and they were given one week to comply with this. The adjournment also allowed more time for Dean Furlong to brief his advisors.
