Statement from the rector of Knocknagoney Parish, The Revd David Brown

on the bomb attack on the PSNI Training College, Garnerville
on Tuesday 16th April 2002.

Wednesday 17th April 2002

“When we consider the desire and will that exists among the vast majority of people in this province to work for peace, this bomb attack on the PSNI Training College in Garnerville was a disgraceful act. Fortunately no one has been hurt, but there was obviously no concern for either police or local residents.

Those who continue to pursue violence and division in our society have nothing to offer except hatred.

The path they have chosen is far removed from the path of Jesus Christ”.
