St Nahi's Church, (Dublin) Celebrates Its Role In The Wider Community

Over the weekend of 19-21 September, St Nahi's Church, hosted a weekend of talks, music and worship to celebrate it's role within the South Dublin suburb of Dundrum.  The theme of the weekend was 'Lighten Our Darkness’.  An exhibition on the stained glass (created by stained glass artists of the An Tur Gloine studio) and other historic artefacts held in the church, which dates back to the 7th Century was opened by the minister for Social and Family Affairs, Mrs Mary Hannafin.

The weekend included talks on the archaeology of the area and the stained glass.  There was an organ recital by Dr David Adams, a concert by candlelight and a number of guided tours of the graveyard and church.  Over 400 visitors passed through the building over the weekend, which turned out to be a wonderful community and family weekend.
