St Patrick's Day Saul to Down Cathedral Pilgrimage
'Join us on our Prayer Walk for Peace'
Urges Bishop Harold Miller
The Bishop of Down and Dromore, the Right Revd Harold Miller, has urged people to join him and other pilgrims as they walk and pray for peace in our land on St Patrick's Day.
'The annual prayer pilgrimage from Saul to Down Cathedral will offer an opportunity to respond positively to the recent tragic events in Antrim and Craigavon. So please join us as we rally together for peace and continue to lift up our province in prayer on this symbolic day.'

The Bishop is also encouraging pilgrims to wear a purple ribbon or item of purple clothing as a Lenten sign of solidarity in working for good.
The Prayer Walk for Peace takes place after a service of Holy Communion in Saul Church and before the main interdenominational service in Down Cathedral at 11.45am.
Free bus transport to Saul will be available from outside Down Cathedral until 10.15am and the Prayer Walk will begin at 10.30am. No booking is necessary. Pilgrims are advised to park in Downpatrick and pick up their cars afterwards.
