2009 Easter Message

There is something about the springtime and early mornings that I find inviting. The birdsong, the sunrise, the freshness of the morning and the new possibilities draw me out of sleep.
They are also a reminder to me of the hope that is ours. The Easter message of 'Christ is risen' comes again and again into the confusion of the world in which we live. There is sadness and suffering everywhere and yet there are also glimpses of goodness and joy.
Our lives and springtime are reminders of the Easter message. There is hope in the chaos and peace in the pain.
