Insurance Information Events in Clogher Diocese

Clogher Diocesan Glebes Committee in conjunction with Oval James have arranged two information evenings on the subject of parish insurance.

The events, which are open to all involved in parish administration and the management and maintenance of parochial property throughout the diocese, will take place on two separate evenings during May. The first is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 12th May at 8.00pm in the Hilliard Room, St Macartin’s Cathedral Hall, Hall’s Lane, Enniskillen, and then for those who were unable to attend this event, it will be repeated on Thursday 20th May at 8.00pm in St Patrick’s Church Hall, Church Square, Monaghan.

The information evenings will include a presentation focusing on the key issues arising from the recent RCB advice on insurance to Select Vestries, and an outline of current insurance market issues in relation to the Church sector. Attention will also be given to claims trends in Churches and why Churches need to embrace Health & Safety. Following the presentation which will last approximately one hour, there will be an opportunity for those in attendance to ask questions.

Those wishing to attend are asked to register by contacting Clogher Diocesan Office on 028 66 347879.
