Derry & Raphoe Diocesan Website Wins Prize

A website provided by Topstorey Communications has won a prize, awarded by the Central Communications Board of the Church of Ireland. The website for Derry and Raphoe Diocese took first place in the Best Diocesan Website Category.

Each year the Central Communications Board invites external media professionals to judge a competition for the best newsletters, magazines, websites and innovative use of social media by individuals, parishes and dioceses within the Church of Ireland. The results of this year’s competition were announced on Saturday 8 May by the Archbishop of Armagh at the General Synod in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin.

Derry and Raphoe diocese launched its new website in October 2009. In awarding the prize to Derry and Raphoe diocese Archbishop Harper referred to the judges comments which “highlighted excellent design and an impressive home page”.
