Three New Priests for Cork, Cloyne & Ross

Three new priests will be ordained on Monday night next, 31st May 2010 to serve in the Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross.

Patrick Burke (from Cork), Adrian Moran (from Midleton) and Anne Skuse (from Bandon) will be ordained by Bishop Paul Colton, assisted by the priests of the Diocese, at the Ordination Service in Saint Fin Barre's Cathedral, Cork, which will begin at 8 p.m.

Bishop Colton said:
"This may be a small part of the worldwide Church, yet we can celebrate that three new priests will be ordained on Monday to serve alongside the other priests of the Diocese. These are ordinary people who have heard God's call to do something different and exciting with their lives at a time when communities of people everywhere need leaders, carers and someone to stand alongside them."

The preacher at Monday's Service will be Father Kevin Morris, Vicar of St Michael and All Angels, Bedford Park London and a Director of Post-Ordination Training in the Diocese of London.

Visitors are welcome at the Service.

Official Photographs will be taken at the vestry door on the north side of the Cathedral at 7.40 p.m.
