The Tsunami and Faith in God

The Bishop of Durham, Rt Revd Tom Wright, is to give a lecture entitled ?What has the recent tsunami done to faith in God?? in St Bartholomew?s Parish Church, Stranmillis Road, Belfast on Tuesday, 1 February 2005 at 1pm.

In extending a public invitation to this event, Rev Ron Elsdon, Rector of St Bartholomew?s, said: ?Since the tsunami various simplistic and useless answers have been given. I believe Bishop Wright?s lecture will help people grapple with the questions prompted by the disaster.?

The lecture has been arranged jointly with the Church of Ireland Chaplaincy at Queens University.
