Statement from Bishop Harold Miller:
?It gives me the greatest of pleasure to announce the appointment of the Revd Canon W John Scott as the new Archdeacon of Dromore. The whole of John?s ordained ministry has been exercised in the diocese of Down and Dromore and he brings together in his person both a straightforward honesty and a real pastoral care and love for people. John will remain as rector of Seapatrick Parish (Banbridge)?.
