Revd Canon Gregory Dunston (Rector, St Matthew's, Belfast) & NI Environment Minister, Edwin Poots, MLA

Northern Ireland Minister Edwin Poots, MLA, Minister for the Environment, took part today (Wednesday 23 March 2011) in the KJV@4:00 initiative at the Church of Ireland’s Good Book Shop, Belfast. The Minister read chapters from 1 Samuel as part of the venture to mark 400th Anniversary of King James Bible in 2011.

At 4.00 p.m. on each weekday of business over the course of 2011, a passage from the King James Bible is being read aloud in the shop so that the entire bible will be read in a year.

The Revd Canon Gregory Dunstan, Rector of St Matthew's, Shankill, Belfast (pictured above, with the Minister), also read as part of today's event.

There are still some slots for reading available. If anyone is interested in becoming a reader, please e-mail Richard Ryan at [email protected] or phone 028 9024 4825.
