The parish of Skreen in County Sligo held a dawn celebration of the eucharist on Dunmoran strand on Easter Sunday.

The communion was held under the auspices of the diocesan youth team but as with all our worship it was open to all ages.

There were over 100 people present from across the diocese and although they came mainly from the northern end-naturally enough as it was 7:00a.m. the youth worker, Steve Brikeden, came all the way from Westport.

A cooked breakfast was served in Skreen Old School House.
