Archbishop Neill to attend Mass in the Pro-Cathedral for Pope John Paul II

The Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Revd Dr John Neill, will be attending the Mass in the Pro-Cathedral in memory of Pope John Paul II on Tuesday at 5:45pm.

Dr Neill said ?I will be attending the mass to give thanks for the life and ministry of Pope John Paul II and to share in the grief of our Roman Catholic friends and neighbours. Looking back, there are so many achievements of the pontificate of the late Pope to remember. Looking forward, I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide the College of Cardinals in the coming weeks in the formidable task choosing the right man to lead the Roman Catholic Church in these very demanding days for all Christians.?
