Three Canons And A Dean – Ordination Anniversaries Celebrated

A very unusual celebration took place at St Columb’s Cathedral, Londonderry, on Tuesday 25 June. Three Canons and a Dean celebrated the twenty–fifth anniversary of their ordinations.

Dean William Morton along with Canons Derek Creighton, David Ferry and Derek Quinn were all ordained in the same month, June 1988. Family and parishioners, along with Bishop Ken Good, joined them as they celebrated at a Service of Holy Communion in St Columb’s Cathedral.

Coffee and light refreshments were served in The Chapter Room after the Service.
