Statement of Welcome from the Honorary Secretaries and Diocesan Council of Meath & Kildare Dioceses

‘The Dioceses of Meath and Kildare are delighted to welcome the appointment of the Reverend Patricia Storey as Bishop–elect. We warmly congratulate Pat on her successful election at a meeting of the House of Bishops on 19th September.

‘We uphold the Revd Pat Storey in prayer as she prepares for her consecration as bishop and for this new and exciting chapter in her life. We extend our prayerful good wishes to her husband, the Revd Earl Storey, to their children, Carolyn and Luke, and to their extended family.

‘We pray that the Revd Pat Storey may be greatly blessed in the ministry to which she has been called. We have no doubt that her spiritual gifts, pastoral ministry and warm personality will enrich our dioceses and wider community.

‘We very much look forward to welcoming the Revd Pat Storey as our next bishop and to these United Dioceses of Meath and Kildare.’
