Bishop Ken Good Condemns Killing Of Young Man in Derry / Londonderry

The Church of Ireland Bishop of Derry and Raphoe has condemned the killing of a young man in the city centre of Derry / Londonderry today (10th October).

Bishop Ken Good said: “Our community is in shock following this killing in our city centre. We do not yet know the full circumstances of this horrific event but the taking of this young man’s life is inexcusable. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones, who must now come to terms with such a needless tragedy.” He continued “The city unites with one voice in condemning this terrible act and joins together in a united commitment – to build a community that safeguards the life of everyone, without exception.”
