Clergy at the Tuam, Killala and Achonry Clergy Conference

The annual conference of the clergy of Tuam, Killala and Achonry was held at the end of October on the beautiful Lusty Beg Island in Co Fermanagh.

The theme running through the conference was Mission and Outreach. To focus thoughts on this, the keynote speaker was Canon Mark Russell, CEO of The Church Army. TKA is currently investigating the possibility of engaging with the Church Army in some sort of partnership so this was a timely opportunity to hear what Mark has to say.

The clergy were also addressed by Revd Andrew Rawling on suicide prevention and awareness and Ms Lydia Monds from the Bishops Appeal about Mission Overseas.

The surroundings were convivial, the food splendid and the fellowship and craic mighty!
