Ecumenical open air carol service in Enniskerry

ECUMENICAL OPEN AIR CAROL SERVICE IN ENNISKERRY

An ecumenical open air Carol Service will be held in Enniskerry village, Co Wicklow on Sunday 19th December 2004 at 5.00pm.

Jointly organised by the Rector, Canon Ricky Rountree and the Parish priest, Fr Pat Farnan it has been enthusiastically supported by the Tidy Towns Committee and the Traders Association of Enniskerry.

The singing will be led by the combined choirs of Powerscourt Church, Curtlestown Church, St Mary's Enniskerry and the Enniskerry Gospel Choir.

The Garda will cordon off part of the village between the clock tower and the parish school for the duration of the service.

It promises to be a very meaningful event with the lovely atmosphere created by the Christmas lights and with all the shops turning out their main lights and putting white candles in their windows. All visitors will be made most welcome.
