Sponsor a Slate Success at St Colmanell’s, Ahoghill

A Sponsor a Slate Appeal organised by St Colmanell’s Parish Church, Ahoghill, raised just over £45,000.

This sum was further boosted by a Christmas Tree Festival held in late November which raised £15,000, with the money split between the NI Hospice and the Church Building Fund.

Work has now been completed on the roof of the historic church – consecrated in 1865.

Mrs Rosemary Frayne, organiser of Christmas Tree Festival, and the Rev Gary Millar present a cheque for £7,500 to Mrs Jean Boyce of the NI Hospice.
