Kilmocomogue Youth Create 2016 Fund–Raising Calendar

Five members of Kilmocomogue Youth in Bantry, County Cork, have come up with an imaginative way of raising funds for their activities. They have produced a lovely calendar for 2016 with a mixture of photographs of local scenery and of their activities.

Emerging from the parish Sunday Club, where some of them are junior leaders, they are a very active group who have been involved in fundraising for Christian Aid and are planning another charity event early next year. The girls involved in producing the calendar are Kate, Adah, Sharon, Sarah and Lynn, and they are pictured here handing over one of the newly printed calendars to the rector Canon Paul Willoughby.

Canon Willoughby said: ‘This is a really great calendar – the girls have done a super job in selecting the photographs and arranging every aspect of its production. We are all very proud of them.’

Copies of the calendar are available locally or by contacting the rector directly.
