Carrigaline Union and Templebreedy Group of Parishes in the Diocese of Cork held a joint Holiday Club for the fifth successive year last week in St Mary’s National School, Carrigaline.

Forty children and twenty teen helpers (plus ‘Adult’ leaders!) exhausted themselves learning all about the story of Joseph, his many coloured coat, his many brothers and his many adventures – all presented within a ‘Cops & Robbers’ theme!

The Revd Isobel Jackson and the Revd Elaine Murray who organised the holiday club said: ‘We would invite and encourage anyone thinking of running a Holiday Club in their parish to contact us for pointers. It really is a great way of connecting with the teens in your parish as well as teaching the children.’
