Limerick and Killaloe appointments
The Bishop of Limerick and Killaloe, the Rt Revd Kenneth Kearon, is delighted to announce the appointment of the Revd Patrick Comerford of Rathkeale Group of parishes, and prospectively Director of Continuing Education in the diocese, as Precentor of the Joint Chapter of the Cathedral Churches of St Mary, Limerick, and St Flannan, Killaloe.
Patrick’s installation will take place in St Mary’s Cathedral during Choral Evensong on Sunday 19th February at 5pm. At that same service, Bishop Kenneth will be launching the new Guild of Lay Readers, an initiative instigated as part of the response to the ‘Forward together’ report commissioned earlier in the year to identify areas of potential diocesan development.
