Limerick & Killaloe installation and commissioning
At Choral Evensong on Sunday evening, 19 February, in St Mary’s Cathedral, Bishop Kenneth Kearon presided at the inauguration of the new Diocesan Guild of Readers, having commissioned Norma–Jean Carney and Jerome Phair as new Diocesan Readers; Dr Steven Ellis, already a Diocesan Reader in Tuam, was also commissioned for Killaloe.
At the same service, Canon Patrick Comerford was installed as Precentor of the Joint Chapter. Bishop Patrick Rooke preached.
