The annual MU Young Members Conference - Desperate Housewives

The annual MU Young Members Conference will take place in Dublin on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th October under the theme "Desperate Housewives" in which MU will focus on how young women are pressurised in relation to their image.

The keynote speaker Mrs Lesley McColgan from Northern Ireland - an image consultant with a unique story - will give delegates the opportunity to explore how they perceive themselves in an "Image is everything" culture. Lady Eames (former MU Worldwide President) and Margaret Crawford (All-Ireland President) will join the delegates during the conference programme.

Conference programme:
Friday 19th - 17:30hrs arrival and check-in at Bewley's Hotel, Leopardstown, followed by an evening meal and opening session at Taney Parish Hall.
Saturday 20th - breakfast at the hotel followed by a full programme of presentations and group discussions at Taney Parish Centre, with the conference finishing at approximately 15:30hrs.

This conference is open to ALL young women throughout the Dioceses and not only MU members. However, places are limited at this extremely popular conference and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis, so delegates are advised to book as early as possible.
