ARCHBISHOP EAMES PAYS TRIBUTE TO ORANGEMEN
The Archbishop of Armagh, Dr Robin Eames, tonight welcomed the outcome of today’s Drumcree Service and paid tribute to the organization and response of Portadown Orangemen to his appeal for calm and dignity.
The Archbishop has now appealed for definite progress for resolving the whole issue of Drumcree long before July next year.
He said: “Trust is essential between the two parties and I believe today’s events have contributed much to building that understanding.”
