A key element of parish management is understanding the risks and potential issues the Parish could face.
By considering risks in terms of their likelihood, potential impact and how effectively existing plans, contingencies and other controls are at limiting the impact of the risk it is possible to create a risk register. The risk register is a helpful tool in articulating which aspects of the future are under control and which require further attention.
Below you can find a sample risk register for a parish, with a number of example categories and risk levels.
