Saint Luke's Home to build an Education Centre at Mahon, Cork
The Bishop of Cork, Cloyne & Ross, The Right Rev. Paul Colton today (13th October, 2008) announced details of the commencement of plans to construct a multi-disciplinary Education Centre, located on the ground of St. Luke’s Home for the elderly in Mahon, Cork, and announced also the appointment of The Rev. Bruce Pierce as Director of Education at the new facility.

Dean's Address at Dedication of RUC George Cross 'Peace' Window, St Anne's Cathedral
A memorial window to the Royal Ulster Constabulary George Cross was unveiled at a service of dedication at St Anne's Cathedral, Belfast on Sunday 12th October 2008 by the Rt Revd the Lord Eames of Armagh. The service was led by the Dean of Belfast, the Very Revd Dr Houston McKelvey, who also gave the address. The full transcript of the Dean's address is provided.
